Yes, that is the Mfg price, so when you check out they take 40% of that.

I went to check out and it didn't subtract 40%. Plus it wouldn't tell me how much shipping would be until I confirmed the order.

When ordering, select the factory only and they will email you an invoice with the discounted price and shipping charge which at that time you can decide to cancel or move forward by replying to the email they will send you.

one thing I've never liked on this car is the plastic centre shaft parts and motor mount so I looked into xray ones, cheap enough second hand I quickly discovered that t4 spacing is completely different whilst t3 setup would be possible. I set about investigating further.

all the parts.

t4 nope

t3 matches

to make sure the front belt cleared the top deck the base of both sides needed to be lifted up 1mm, i will make a carbon piece for this after initial running to test. also the little chassis mount infront of the motor needed the screw oblonging on the motor mount to match the location on the std chassis hole. the top of both side can also be spaced up 1.5mm and connected to the top deck to decrease chassis flex which i will be doing.

like how? not much more you can do with std kit. the front and rear bulkheads seem to sit 1.5/2mm taller than xray ones where the top deck goes. so would need machining to lower the top deck.

other than lower towers and ultra short shocks which arnt available I'm happy with that. I'll be more beneficial crashing less on track and driving smoother before worrying about tenths yet

Yes, the x-rays t4 16/17 shock towers and slp shocks will fit this car. This will give you more corner speed.

At what point do you say "screw it" and just finish converting the car to a xray?

haha. could be a fair point, but personally for me I purchased the car for £50 with alot of unopened alloy parts with it and have only spent a further 40 on it including buying spares. so if I get anywhere nr the 400+ needed for new or £200+ second hand then yeah I'd probably have been better off going xray.

only thing I don't like is the amount of flex the chassis has being none carbon, it worries me for my high grip carpet races coming up! if no good I'll set it up for my son and invest in a high end model for the rest of the championship, reluctantly due to cost though

So far the only thing I don't have to be a Team C TC10 car is the motor mount setup..... its been a good car for usgt, even did good on carpet. I could hang with the xrays and other carpet cars. Never ran it as a touring car.....so can't comment on a faster class.

This car just like any other car can hang with the best to include the 17.5 touring class to.
