Darkside Motorsports 12th scale....
 

Has this car been released to the public yet? I have been running their oval cars for years and would love to see what they come up with for an 12th scale on-road car.

Any info is appreciated.

there was some info posted in the thread "what's hot in 12th onroad" awhile back

it has 4 cells down the middle. a technology being rehashed from the early 90's

2 others are also revisiting this style of car. a company in France basing it off Corally parts and someone in Germany under the term ASCARI Project basing one version off the Corally and another off AE/CRC 12th parts

Our new 1/12 scale roadcourse chassis is still being tested. The results thus far have been good. We are anticipating releasing this car to the public around the end of the year. If you have any questions, feel free to post here and I'll answer what I can

is it going to be a conversion or a kit only?

Still testing the prototypes and on track for release in early January 2006. Not certain wether we will release this is a conversion or complete kit yet.
