I have had that radio for the past year and I really like it. It uses only 4 AA batteries and my battery life has been at least 6 months with probably 90 four minute heats. It is comfortable to hold, balances well in my hand. It is also very easy to program and has all the settings you need to run a touring car....EPA, Expo, Dual Rate, 10 model memory.

The only negative I can list is that the receivers are proprietary as far as I know and they cost $50 each. I now have 6 receivers so that can add up pretty quickly.

These are the two cheapest receivers I have been using with success. They are made by Sanwa/Airtronics. I believe Sanwa makes all Airtronics electronics.

RX371W (Waterproof 3 channel receiver) part no. 92621 or 92622

RX371 (3 channel receiver) part no. 92524

These are FHSS-2 compatible. They both cost $50 to $60. If someone finds a cheaper alternative, please post.

So, do you have this Sanwa new radio? Can you share your comment? Since I am thinking to order. Thanks!
