Default Box stock and setup

I'm thinking of buying this chassis. To run on carpet stock rubber 17.5 tc. And usgt.
Would I need to get any parts(besides spares parts) or is just good box stock?

I know there is some setups from v1 would they work on v2
Could some of you pros post up a setup for stock 17.5

When building is there lots of shimming needed?
How is wear and slop?

The v1 setups will carry over to the v2 kit.
The main thing I'd suggest is getting the aluminum servo mount as the plastic is not stiff enough to be consistent. Get a variety of springs and sway bars and you are good to go.

Get my new car tomorrow, going to take my time on this one. Have built many off road buggys and Sct's . This will be my first on road sedan. Any helpful advice will be appreciated.

The kit goes together nicely and the manual is one of the best on the market.
Just pay attention to the details and you will be good to go.

Do I want to use soft arms and hubs or hard for outside pavement low grip racing?

I ran both the original soft plastics and the V2 plastics on medium/low bite tracks. Car is way more consistent and takes a set into and out of corners much better with V2 plastics.

Hello All,

I recently picked up a v1 and I am currently setting it up for VTA. Will any other spurs work with this car. I need to put a smaller spur on it. No one seems to have the Durango ones in stock and I am not running VTA with a 116 lol. Thanks for all your help. I cant wait to run this thing.
