As far as setup it was pretty much the same except I had to run 1-1.75mm shims on the button of the WL hubs to get a 5-5.4mm ride height once the Protoform VTA tires really ballooned up.

I dremeled out the steering arms also. This is my setup sheet for our black CRC carpet track. The car is dialed in with this setup on my 800x. see the attachment.

Thank you,
I do have a couple of question, in the middle of the sheet there is a choice of HIgh or Low, Front and Back, What is that referring too?
What weights do you use to get to 28g in the front?
Do you glue sidwalls?

high/low is spool/diff height. 28g ia an ounce.....could be 4 7g lead cubes or pcs of tungsten?

How do you adjust the spool diff height?

If you notice on your spool and differential there are teeth that you use to adjust the height and the tension of the belt. You will notice there is a dot on the outside ring of the teeth. Were that dot is, the plastic is thicker and that thickness adjusts the diff/spool up and down on the bulkhead. When the dot is down it raises the spool/diff and when its on top it lowers the spool/diff. The forward and back adjusts the tension on the belt. I run VTA so I dont have a lot of tension on the belt to free up the motor. I work at a car dealership and I found these large lead 28g stick on wheel weights. They work great and are low profile to fit under the steering bell crank. I do glue the sidewalls on the front tires up to the tread line. After each run I clean the tires with either Simple Green or a little non-chlorinated brake cleaner on a rag. The tires get nasty so I wear a set of gloves to keep my hands clean.

Look at pages 11 and 12 of the manual.
It's the same as most other cars.
Remove the two upper arm holders (AM19) that hold the diff in and lift the diff up. Rotate the splined bearing housing (P110) to adjust diff height and belt tension. If you look at the bearing housings, you'll see they're eccentric. Rotate them to position the diff bearings higher or lower. Also forward and rearward to adjust belt tension.

I glued my sidewalls and maybe my tires are not broken in yet, but i have no steering. I had steering with TC tires, but I have maybe 80-100 laps on them. I have been chasing steering. Very frustrating especially when I see others with VTA traction rolling.

I understand what you are talking about with the dot. I set mine per the manual but never changed them. I think my rear is one click forward of center on top. Where is yours?

I'm currently running the MMCX/aluminum chassis with Brandon Clements setup from IIC equipped with a 13.5T boosted setup. The track I am racing at is Yatabe Arena and were using Sorex 28's (Glued to 59 cm) on Black CRC carpet. At first the setup worked really well, but soon after the car was doing some strange things coming out of a 180 turn. After the apex and under hard acceleration the front right wheel would lift off the ground and the car would sometimes wobble. The the droop, ride height, and all other settings are spot on and the car performs really well on 98% of the track, but it's this one section that's causing issues
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I really like Gee's setup on the MM. No X brace on the top deck.
