Does this have a floating servo mount for standard servos or is the only option the $186 dedicated servo?
Thanks,

Oleg wants to present pictures of the "final" car, but should not take to much time till you see pictures of the production car.

Looks like the arms will just about bolt straight over. The shocks may have to fix to the chassis differently, wouldn't think you could use am08-1 over the belt.
Are the arms the same part number? I wonder why the alloy over carbon? Sounds like they use the new am06s-m hubs.
Edit-
What gives it more grip? The motor layout?

I don't think it's the motor layout, we also tested this with the shaft car (A700EX) with transverse motor.
The motor layout makes a difference when it comes to weight transfer during acceleration and torque steer (which was quite small since we use brushless motors which have a much smaller rotor than the brushed motors).
There are a lot of details on the new car influencing this, new "flex" of the car with very different bulkhead "stiffness", different topdeck design, new chassis design, bit different weight distribution, ....
kind regards
Marcel

Arms are the same part numbers.
Alloy arms are a bit heavier but more reliable at race incidents.
AM06S-M are used for A800.
Conventional plastic eccentric diff holders for both belt tension and differential height adjustment.
So Oleg for the aluminum chassis to clear the motor you made a recess the lenght of the battery on both side and for the carbon just a slot on both side?
How thick is both chassis?
What is the decision to change the steering rack to a dual bell crank vs the system on the A700?
Thanks!

Carbon chassis is 2,5 mm for quicker steering response.
A dual bell crank system suits this car better.

Shock holders are new - AM88L and AM88R items.

AM06S-M are used for A800.
Bell crank posts are located almost on the line of servo mount. So the tweak between servo and bell cranks is insignificant.

Initial renderings of the car look great. Nice job!! Is this car going to replace the shaft drive cars or just a different flavor for people who prefer belt? I'm thinking about making a change from the orange cars and was thinking getting one of each but don't want to buy a car that is no longer going to be supported or developed.
Thanks,
Chuck

Our shaft cars are under permanent development also.
Ideas for this have not ended.
