im just spitballing here, But! I’m of the thought there will be a discernible difference, quite obvious.

Just an observation from the pictures.

I dunno man. From the IRIS website
Original Driveshaft
V2 Driveshaft
Looks like they just re-used the original photo on the website.
Look I'm not trying to kick up dust here.
They may have changed the design and the photo shoot is lagging. Or just backed off the hardness spec a smidgen.
Cheers

I get it, we contacted Monaco today for 4 sets of replacements, should see them in a bit, we’ll see. It looks to me a bit more material where needed, hope a tad softer too.

I designed a front carbonfiber bulkhead brace to reduce the front bulkheads from tweaking during impact and add stress to the top deck causing it to break and I've got a 3d printed bumper for the iris as well if anyone is interested

no they are not, in fact laying them side by side you can't tell the difference
and if my calipers are correct and i used them correctly the new ones measure 2.54 vs the old ones at 2.58

Any updates from people driving the car? How is the three belt system holding up? Any problems with the dampers? How about after a crash or a hard hit, does the car handling stay consistent?

Thank you.
Where can we get the V2 parts? Why does Amain not have them?

The car feels really nice
- I haven't experienced any issues with the belt system as of yet...no skips or extra noticable friction
- The dampers have a slight leak with the paper gasket, like not enough that theres a puddle under the car...but enough that my damper builds ALWAYS have some air in them - no biggie IMO.
- I haven't experienced a crash yet, but I see alot of people trying to brace the front bulkheads, but that maybe takes away some of the bulkhead flex thats actually desirable in the car...maybe (I havent tested)
I'm driving outdoor big track 13.5 ISTC stock, and the car is so flexy I'm hunting to try the hard top decks, maybe even Alu chassis
For a first-gen car, its already on par (if not quicker) than where I was with my Awesomatix A800MMX chassis after 3 years on the local track - so that says alot for me

I shared my thoughts on the car via Facebook - you can see it on PetitRC here

I'm hoping to get more laps on the car this weekend and test out a few more things properly like the progressive setting for the suspension mounts - I've already made the shorter pushrods to try this as per this post
