Decent progression on a practice day this weekend at 180 raceway, car starting to feel decent and creeping into smaller gains territory. Still 3 tenths off the national champions pace but it's only day 2.

i never really measured the exact height but it is probably around 6 to 8 to take in account for chassis roll. i only block it on the sides

Took me a minute to see what I wanted to see in this design so I finally have one on the way but is it just the pin that is breaking on the front driveshafts? Front top deck looks vulnerable... anything else spare wise that is essential? Thank you in advance!

Itīs the Dogbone thats breaks where Pin is, so maybe the Pin breaks it or vice versa, but it seems that not all have this issue.
As Whisbones and upper Part are the same on all 4 ends this is maybe a nice to have part.
Front Topdeck should be ok, as long as you donīt put it with warp in the wall

I've ordered some driveshaft rebuild sets but until now didn't break any pins.
I think the car is pretty durable but a hard crash is still to come for me.

Take your time for the build and go easy on the gear diff housing or you will damage the thread for your screw pretty quick.

These look useful... trying to plan ahead with the build. Anyone know what we need spacer wise for 2 degrees camber front and rear?

Depends on your arm track width. But i on the middle width you can get 2 deg camber in the 2-3mm upper arm shim range. That's also of course dependent somewhat on upper arm angle setting.

Hi all,

How are all you IRIS user measuring the droop settings on the car?
Just at the end of the arm? Shocks attached or not?

Thanks in advance.

Build quality looks pretty good so far but I'm very concerned about the bulheads not being pinned... tremendous load on them since they also act as lower suspension blocks. I think they will have to update this in the future.

I'd really like a bulkhead alignment tool for this chassis.

The front bulkheads tend to tweak when you tap boards because (as you mentioned) the suspension arms mount to them. I havent bent anything but its definable something to check after each run.

Hmm, this is strange. This red spacer would have to be glued in place in order to do it's job... you can literally push the bearing on this side all the way through and out the other end.
