Hi Andreas

begins with welcome and appreciate your enthusiasm for the sport, had you as a idol when I started my career in rc.

My question:

do you have a prototype of the car or is it just pure theoretical thoughts about the suspension, chassis flex?

Hi and thanks for your nice words having me as your Idol once...same as Alex once did

No, its all theory from 30 years of experience. Prototypes are not finished yet. Working on getting them finished as soon as possible but will still take some time.

Andreas, I'm very curious about all the details, particularly the rocker arm. Do you have concerns that it might be prone to jam with dirt?

Hi Airwave,

No honestly I am not worried about this.
I will make sure thats enough slop so dust wont jam it up.

For the gears, they move so little just compare that to a spur and main gear. So should be ok.
However on dirty tracks (normally first 2-3 batteries on a new track) one needs to make sure that you clean the car, but that goes for all high end racing cars really

There is a good artical about rotary dampers in F1 if you are interested, some of the theory translates across to 1/10th size

That was a good read, thank you.

It also mentions the through rod damper, or as we know the T-shox!

i like everything about this car, i think it is very sad that racing in general is a very conservative world. How is it possible that alle the top cars look almost identical? we need more creativity and engineering like this!

good luck with the kickstarter!
