Myself and another racer were going to get Lightning FXM's despite the greatness of the Xray X1 and promising Associated F6 - which would have made me a full VBC man. However distribution changes in North America have left my LHS (Action Hobbies Kingsville) unable to order VBC products despite attempts to reactivate the account. Anyway - I hope this issue is resolved soon but in the interim the F6 is going to replace my X1. Hopefully the next VBC F1 release will be a different story.

Because I want to support my LHS (Action Hobbies Kingsville) and home track... I did order my FF17 direct from VBC but only because I waited 2 years for that release and it was a must have.

If you're still looking for VBC kits/parts, check out www.gripworksrc.com. They carry VBC and are Canadian to boot eh!

I've ordered from Alex at Gripworks RC several times now, and have always been satisfied. Very helpful and even made sure I had the "right" stuff when I ordered the FX F1 kit.

VBC Racing Lightning FXM - Edward Pickering - Yatabe Arena - 05.03.2017

Found a really good starting point with the FXM on grey carpet. This might work well on asphalt.

Give it a try

Hello fellow FX/M owners!

I'm showing you this little modification I've conjured up to stiffen up the front to rear flex.

It's worth trying and I'm interested to hear your results.

Happy racing!

I'm still working on the wiring and weight placement.
