Always remember, the Fenix isn't a diff made for fluid. It is a grease diff only. The new Xray diff is a fluid diff. I have run the Fenix, Ball and a spool in my CRC car. I will soon try the Xray. Of the first three I usually prefer the ball diff because of a combo of weight and handling. The spool is also good but a high bite track but a small mistake on the rubber tires can cause a problem. The Fenix with grease is always good but its extra weight just hurts a little on tight tracks.
With that said they each have their place.

I run the xray diff on my 1/12th CRC with no problem. I would rather have the Fennix but they don't make the gear small enough.. The Vette body I run it medium all the way around with no problem- either one. I like the newer vette better-as I knock off 1/10th over the older one but that could just be me.

Do the sidewalls stick out? If they do then according to the class rules it isn't legal. That is a generally not enforced rule. I ran the MX Stang on the medium setup for quite awhile until Dumper informed me that I wasn't running it in line with that rule.
I have both vetts from PF. The ZR-1 is much better on black carpet.

Hey guys,

Just curious to see everyone's thoughts, when setting up a WGT car and going from the foam tires to the rubber tires, what setup changes did you make to your baseline setups? Stiffer springs and heavier oils all around? Less camber and gluing the outside edges of the tires? Stiffer center shock to handle the increased weight?

Actually we set the cars up softer. Soft front springs with 1-2 mm of droop, Soft side springs on the rear. The center spring is usually a medium rate with some rear droop. Oil in the center is similar to a foam setup. Front caster and camber aren't much different. Sidewall glue as track dictates.

Isn't that the 190mm version?
The 200mm is already legal for this class. The 190mm was created for USGT.

Dumper, will this be enforced at this years IIC? Also, will anything such as Shoe Goo for re-enforcement< within reason, say around the front wheel wells or the splitter in the front be allowed?

Will the new Ford Gt #1550-25 be added to the list?
I was wondering the same thing.

Bodies must weigh a minimum of 95 grams with the weight comprised of the body (all pieces and wings etc), paint and stickers. No pieces of weight will be allowed to assist in making the 95 gram minimum.
is shoe goo/ reinforcement tape considered pieces of weight?

Just curious since there are a few “approved” bodies on this list that fall under this weight, even painted and stickerd up.
