The flyer is dated November 5, 2016; so, this is in the past. Dumper can tell us when he chimes in. Guessing that it may have used a 13.5 motor.

Oh for that race.

At our track. It was the same rules as everyone else, just better drivers. With the caliber of drivers we have at our track, we tend to separate ourselves. Otherwise our local "normal" guys may not show up. I don't run GTR weekly during our on road season. When I do, I run 21.5 1s against them.

Because our track is small we run 1s 21.5 in F1. Our track is 60x36 with 6 foot lanes. We have zero TC's that run here, so we can run man layouts. No 12 foot lanes here! I actually won that race with the F1 I run at big races. I just took out my 2s pack and ran 1s 25.5. Talk about slow! I was hot lapped by over 1/2 second and still won. Trying to teach these guys, motor is not everything. Cutting good lines, carrying corner speed and not wrecking means more.

Thanks for clearing that up and the extra bit of racing advice.

Well obviously those things are easier said than done. But I thought if they could actually see it happening then maybe it would click with some of these guys.

Getting ready to paint a new HPI Porsche GT1 I've been saving for ages. A diffuser would finish that off nicely.

The Protoform PF10 works well. The HPI Porsche 911 GT1 #738 is also a favorite if you can find it.

Default Set-Up

I have my CRC World GT-R car on order. Anyone have any recommendations for a black carpet setup?
