Thanks a lot. That driving well thing always gets in my way.

After just one race day, I learned that you CAN NOT make a mistake. One bad corner and you can never catch the guy in front of you, unless he/she makes a mistake.

I think we need to add a rule. The leader must crash at least once during every race.

Looking for a setup tool. Can any recommend a setup station? Been eyeing the Hudy HUD109405 but want to see if there are any cheaper alternatives?

Also not sure of the Hudy wheel nuts as they are 3mm.. I don't think the CRC ones are metric.

Anyone advise?

I don't the cost of the Hudy system, but Integy has variety of setup stations.

AMain has some and they have reviews with the ones they stock.

Hobby King has a pan car setup station, but it's only for the front.

I'll be there this Sunday to break it in, make adjustments.

Absolutely correct. It is a very competitive class at our track. You really have to concentrate and as you said a mistake is costly. It is one of our largest classes at "The Gate".

I haven't had that much fun in On-Road in a long time!

Had a visiting Team CRC driver, Adam Balk, in for our club race this weekend. Adam spent a LOT of time helping people get their WGT-R (and other) cars dialed in.

Result? We had thirteen WGT-R cars entered. Top to bottom the qualifying was within a lap plus several seconds after three rounds. For the mains we seeded seven cars directly into the A-main and ran the other six in the B-main with three bump-ups. In the B-main NO one got lapped by the winner. In the (now) ten car A-main race a couple cars MAY have been lapped, but the great majority were on the lead lap and dicing closely for positions.

THANKS ADAM!!

That is awesome for all involved! Good close racing and people having fun, that's a win - win in my book.
