Default wow...CRC nailed it

This class is faultless.

We run on a shared carpet track with an off-road program (wooden jumps) that pulls up our groove as they run. Off-road runs Saturday night, pull the jumps and the on-road program runs Sunday morning. Completely green track, no groove, no line whatsoever. The first rounds are like running on new carpet. These tires are awesome. Very, very good even the first round - the cars push a bit...perfect. Subsequent rounds get only better. By the third qualifier and the main, absolutely stunning to drive. These tires don't wear, no idea how long you could run them with even a little care.

I can run bodies that I've never dreamed of running competitively. Been racing for decades and have never been able to run my Porsche's...not in any class - competitively I stress. Just the right speed and snap with the 1S and 17.5. New drivers don't get in trouble, experienced drivers can set each other up in the corners. It's of my opinion, we've forgotten how to race close and pass correctly. This class allows you to hone those skills - isn't this the definition of racing? Not simply doing hot laps on the clock. My friend and I finished 8 min. qualifiers less than 4/10's apart all three rounds. It's catching on, we've got more and more folks watching and buying in.

What we want to do is create multiple classes of interest with the same chassis;

American muscle cars one week
European Gt cars another week
and so on another week...

How cool is that? On-road isn't killing it in the states, this is exactly the class and type of racing we've badly needed for sometime.

So I'm not a painter, but looks OK from a distance.

i would say 8 out of 10
A main guy was running some type of porsche body..i think it a couple variations of this body..so i would say
porsche
corvett
caddy
was the most popular bodies
i ran the supra gt body from hpi
cant speak on the wing..because the track had a ton of grip...they would probaly work with out it on that new crc carpet

At the risk of starting a "body of the week" protest, all three on the A-main podium were using the HPI 911 GT1 body (from about 1998).
