If we want realism, these bring it.
I don't think there is a US distributor, but this page is international.

These Team C bodies have a very bad reputation of being blatant rip-offs / unauthorized copies of other companies's products.

Nothing is approved yet. The list is proposed to CRC. Probably won't go into effect until next October, the start of the indoor season. Plus, can you find it in stock anywhere?

my Tamiya WGTR class car. F104GT (combined F103GT chassis with F104 parts). With body I wish the class would be. Can put a regular GT body on it to race. Has the CRC F1 tires/wheels on it which are the same as the WGTR tires.

I like the new GTP bodies that are becoming available, but (and I know we need another class like we need another hole in the head) I think with those bodies it should be on foam. Just my thought anyway, not trying to start a debate here about it.

I actually created a thread for a LMH/LMDH type class with F1 based cars, but I think that would be interesting and open up possibilities for like an exhibition at WEC or IMSA events.

Don't sell rubber short. Our USGT class, AKA, slightly-different-stock-touring-car class are putting in times that are two tenths to a half second quicker than the jellybean class.

If you clean, dress and prep the tyres properly, you won't need foams.

Most shoot for 50% rebound. Let all the air bubbles rise and exit the shock, place the rubber bladder on top, place the cap on and screw on only part way, with shock upright, push piston into shock body all the way and tighten the cap with shaft pushed in. You should get some oil bleed out of the top of the shock when compressing the shaft and this should give you near zero rebound.

Thanks I noticed too the bladder wouldn't seat for a while I was trying to get no air and rolling but still wouldn't push oil out of way and seat. Any tips? Do I need to fill to top to avoid air?

Yes, I fill until the oil is at the top, plop the bladder on, which will displace some oil, then do the rest of the method I describe above. Bladder should find it's way to the correct seating once you start threading the cap on. Been a while since I've done a CRC, but should be the same.

I tapped our friend Frank on the shoulder and got the thumbs up on the list. So it is what we will be going with.
I suggested a start date of July 1. He hasn't answered me on that one yet.
To keep it up to date, I suggest proposals be started here (it sort of has been that way). I will look at it and start a review sort of in the way Dumper would do it.
If you have one you think should be on the list don't hesitate but when you want us to look at one supply more than a pic of the body.
