Which bodies are at risk of being under 95 grams? Seems like the McAllister Mustang is among the lightest and it's not under 95 grams. Are there others on the approved body list that dip below the new minimum weight? If so, why would the be on the approved body list?

I would guess it's more to prevent scraping of bodies. You can scrape 20-30g from a body of you spend enough time.

Or to prevent the production of ULT usgt bodies, so the racing could be somewhat fair..... In any case it really opens the door for heavier paint jobs to make the 95g minimum: nobody will through away their usgt body because of lightness.....

Will this weight rule apply to the IIC race in Las Vegas?
On the Home :: International Indoor Championships website, I only see a reference to 1025 grams overall for WGT-R at this point. However, a minimum 90 gram rule for "all touring car bodies" is stated.
Gotta say that my 123 gram Protoform Ford GT body seems like a pig after seeing how light some of the other WGT-R bodies are.

Yes the ZR1 is light. I have full paint, decals, shoe goo and tape and I’m only at 91g
seems weird to approve a body, let us all buy that body. Then drop a minimum weight on us after the fact that makes that body illegal.
Ill figure it out, but it makes me scratch my head.

Interesting that the rules for sedan bodies at this year's IIC racing in Las Vegas specify a minimum weight of 90 grams.

So there are something like 95 bodies on the approved WGT-R list and people use only three of them; the Ford GT, McCallister Mustang and the Corvette LT1? Not sure that I want to narrow up my car to continue to run the Mustang so looks like adding another Ford GT to the field?
