Default tc4 servo

what is a good buget servo to run a tc4 on carpet. please don't flame the tc4 or anything like that i just want to know a good servo. I have always raced offroad and I am being forced to run onroad this winter. do i want a fast servo or would that make the car too twitchy and hard to drive? lmk what a good starter servo would be. thanks in advance.

When I decided to make my TC4 my backup car, I got a Futaba 9451 servo for it. It was not too expensive (like the KO 2123 in my main car) and seems to work well. It also fits the TC4 tub nicely.

JR makes a decent servo for about 40 bucks. I forget the model number, I think its the 590 or something like that. I have one as a backup. If you want to get a all out race servo consider the JR8450 or now they have a new line ( I think its the 8800). Pretty much anything you buy from JR KO Airtronics or Futaba (notice I did not say HiTech) that cost more than 40 or 50 bucks will be sufficient. Obviously that is very General but if you go to your local store or track and ask what is a popular seller you will probably be fine. You don't need the top of the line digital (but it is nice )

thanks for all the resonses. I have desided to go with the jr 650m, because it is durable and easy to get parts for. also the price is right.
