Does anyone know what the minimum weight for touring car is? ROAR rule book says 1418g. Is that 50 ounces for foam? I've tried websites for conversions & they are all different. Thanks. R.W.

Rick ....we'll be checking in grams so that's 1418 grams for min. TC Foam weight. That is approx. 50 oz.

Just as a reminder to everyone, minimum touring car ride height for this race will be 5 mm.

On another tech note, I see that "chord" (diagonal) dimension for the wing is only 40mm. Seems odd that it would be 40mm if the max wing length is also 40mm. Is that correct...or should I ask??? Don't want ROAR to get me again...LOL

You should go cut down all your wings right away

Default it looks like it will be a great event

I took the opportunity to stop by the track and get registered (and also find the track) this afternoon.

A key point is that it is Building #2 in the Fairground. I didn't see any other signs.

The space is monstrous and thus there is plenty of room around each pit table, etc.

The Marsh Road area where the hotel(s) is has every restaurant chain known to man on it (even a Denny's next door for those who are religious about Cleveland). Also, if you go the other side of Route 5, there is a Krispy Kreme donut shop, a Starbucks and even a Home Depot.

I'll be there first thing Thursday morning. Will probably need something to do Thursday all day, so think up some cool feature to add to the software and I will get it in there.

All,

Just left the Stockton track at 7:30 PM and drove home to the Bay Area.

Track setup was 95% complete when I left and everything was looking great.

We would have posted some progress pictures but our Internet access died. Likely due to all the rain we experienced during the day. It should be back up tomorrow per Ruben.

Only a few others showed up today to register; so, be ready for a crowd doing it in the morning.

I will have a laptop at the track and hotel. Should be able to give some updates as time permits.

Bill (with an RDX)
