I have Rc 02 and Rc 12

RC 02 = Brown
RC 12 = ???

And these would make me roar legal right? I know the odd numbers are ban.

RC02 is actually like 1.5 on the US Band.

RC12 is the same as US Channel 6. So the 12 "should" be legal...if you look at the actual 27.xxx on the 12 it will be the same as 6.

Hey guys hate to say it but you won't be able to bring your own tables. Pits will be setup and filled with tables when you arrive for the Nats and their just won't be any room for personal tables.

Eric you know what other KO 27mhz that is Legal, cause I was informed that they would have a freq checker and I would need to change my crystals.

Thanks, Nick

Nick I am not in charge of Tech or the Roar person in charge of the race so you will need to ask who ever is in charge at the race. But RC04, RC06, RC08, RC10, RC12 are 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 in US frequenceies I think. You can look at the 27.xxx on the crystal and it will be the same as half its value. You may jump over to the KO thread and ask Robert there for sure becasue I only have Rc08 and Rc12 here and I know they are the same as 4 and 6.

Nick please don't post miss information about this race. I did not say they would be checking. What I said was "ROAR had a device here at the 2002 Carpet Nats and they (ROAR) checked then".

I don't realy know if this will be done again but I was just letting people who signed up with funnies know that these are not legal ROAR frequinces let alone legal for use in the US for radio controled surface vehicles. If ROAR does check for this again and you are running funnies you could be DQ'd for that round. Just wanted to clearify this.

I am trying to subvert cost by making sure the other crystals I have work, and not having to go out and buy a new mod.

You need to relax, "I'm not trying to post miss information", if any one else post this you would not care. I fully support this race.

KO's RC12 is Channel 6, but what color is it (so that i can easily tell what clip to get in practice)

Also, i need to make a frequency change to my nats sign up. Can i do it at the track?

Nick I don't need to relax and yes I would have posted the same thing if anyone else would have posted this. I'll rephrase and say don't missquote me.

I have posted the question on the KO thread to Robert and KO Staff. Hopefully someone will answer the question and we'll all understand KO's freq. identification.

Mark ..... are you sure about the RC12 being blue? If so did you find this somwhere where we can verify what KO RC frequinces are actually US 27 mhz 1-6?

Ko is no diffenrent than airtronics. 27 band is 27 band. All of my airtronics crystals work in my Ko stuff. The numbers are the same for both.1-6 are legal. The higher numbers divide by two and you are right back at 1-6. It's the RC01, RC03, RC05..etc......... that are considered funnies.
