Definately don't fly to Reno and try to make this race. It's only about a 2 hour and 45 minute drive, but I miss at least one of Ruebens big races a year due to weather. I made it to the NWCC but had to wait until monday to drive back.

Due to scheduling conflicts,we will not be able to host a warm-up race. We do not have a good weekend after the Snowbirds to make it happen in Feb. My only available date in Feb after the Birds is Sat 2/18/06 and we can not race on the following Sunday 2/19/06. After that we're off for on week and then racing the two weekends prior to the nationals. We will be doing open practice days on the following Suday's 1/29 and 2/5 for anyone that is interested in comming for some track time from out of town.

For everyone asking about which airport to use. My recomendation would be Sacramento (SMF). It is easier to get from Sac to Stockton. Less air traffic and airoport traffic than Oakland and way way way less than San Francisco (SFO). Traffic from the bay area into the valley can be a real pain in the a$$ especialy if you are anywhere near commute hours. If the difference is less than 50$ save the hassel and time and flt into Sac. If the difference is more than that then you may want to consider flying into SFO or OAK. Just remember this for outgoing flights. If you leave on Sunday don't fly out of SFO or OAK. The best theing is to fly into SAC. Even if you get a flight that involves you having to drive in commute traffic you're only looking at about a 60-90 min drive. If you fly into to OAK or SFO and you get caught in commute traffic you literaly could be looking at 2-3 hrs to get to Stockton. Hope this helps.

Oakland and Sacramento are about the same distance (I believe). San Francisco is further, but if you are flying international (lol).

We at Tekin are very excited about our first Title sponsorship in many years. This looks to be a great event we are looking forward to attending.

We have created this race icon to be used on the web as a click here icon and link to the 2006roarnats.com site Please feel free to spread it around and help make this a great event. There are additional sizes and higher res verisons on our website.

Traction compound update. At this time it has yet to be determined what we will be using for the nationals. The flyer says TQ Orange which is TQ Max. Our track up until last month was exsclusively using the TQ Max. We have now started to allow the use of Niftech. More info will be forthcomming regarding what compound will be the handout compound for the nats.

As Harshguy said. One bottel of compound is included in the cost of your first entry.

schurcr & HarshGuy thanks for the info.
Lets us know what to start working with.
Our local trac Rain City Raceway (shameless plug ) uses TQ.
