Hi Tim,

I think that I'll be up again this year...probably onSaturday afternoon, and not sure if we (there will be 2 or 3 of us) will be crashing with some of the locals or if we're going to get a room off-site and then watch the mains on Sunday...

I'm curious to see what James Reilly has in store for the Cleveland race....maybe we'll see an FK07 thread

I know you're a TC4 die-hard Soviet

Nah...I'm just out to defeat the populist cult of XRay. You guys have a secret handshake right?

BTW. When I had the car (xray) I felt so...umm....dirty, as if I had sold myself for crack.

Reilly - how about working on new rear bulkheads for the FK05? It would be nice to have something that allowed removal of the layshaft similar to the way your design works. That dang layshaft is one one of the few gripes I have with this car.

The '05 came out in March or April....but was originally spotted in late December, I believe??

I'd have to dig back into the Xray prototype spotted thread to be sure...

Yeah.....except that I really mean it when I say it...

I have respect for the racing pedigree, and I have respect for the people that do run the TC4.....I just don't like the quality of their composite pieces....

I could probably handle wrenching on a FT TC4, or a BMI TC4 (which I was investigating up until I decided to go back to Xray)...but the composite parts quality is the deal breaker for me...I'm just too nitpicky at times....this is one of those times...

Soviet, there may be an Xray in your future still. Once upon a time, not too long ago the TC3 was the car to have

I hope to not see an fk06 in the near future...I'd rather see an evo3 conversion (like the 415ms to msx)
