Middle River Hobbies (MRH) is proud to announce the 2015 Stock Wars presented by Motiv RC, directed and announced by Scotty Ernst! Stock Wars will offer racers around the U.S. the opportunity to compete against some of the best racers from Mod, 13.5 and 17.5 Touring and 1/12 classes together in 17.5. In the absence of IIC, this will likely be a 1-time event for this year only, so don't miss your opportunity to race 17.5 TC with guys like Paul LeMieux, Drew Ellis, Larry Fairtrace, Josh Cyrul, etc! ROAR rules will apply for TC & 1/12. UF1 rules will apply for F1. USGT will follow standard USGT class rules. Qualifying format will be 4 rounds of Rocket Round style qualifying. SXT 3.0 is the only approved traction additive. Each racer will receive 1 FREE bottle of SXT 3.0 at check-in! All LiPo batteries must be charged in a LiPo sack. Personal Transponders are encouraged, though house transponders are available. Spec tire for TC will be the Gravity RC Type C, which will be available for $25 per set (limit 2). Spec tire for USGT will be the Gravity RC GT premounts, also available at $25 per set. TC and USGT tires must be purchased at the event. Links for Gravity RC tires follow:

Did we mention that Scotty Ernst will be in house for timing/scoring and race announcing? While this certainly is no replacement for IIC, you can get some of that IIC feel at this event!

Pro vs. Open
Pro classes are offered and available to anyone. This is your chance to race with the best of the best of on-road carpet racers. The Open class is available for those who may not feel comfortable in that scenario, so for Open we will exclude any racer who has made a top 10 at any National level carpet race over the past 5 years. The races to determine this are: IIC, Snowbirds, ROAR Nationals, US Indoor Champs, MHIC & Halloween Classic.

Registration/Fees
Signups will go live via rcsignup.com at 12/Noon ET on Monday, 10 August. First class will cost $60, while each additional class will be $40. Classes may be added at the event. The Thursday Night Club race will be limited to 1 entry per driver, and will cost $10 to enter. All practice time the week of the event will be Free!

About MRH
Middle River Hobbies is a small, family owned hobby shop and indoor carpet on-road race track located in Middle River, Maryland, about 20 miles northeast of Baltimore. Our track consists of CRC HD carpet and CRC Clik-Trak on a wood subfloor that is 80x32 in size. Similar to MHIC, pit spacing around the track is limited and will likely be mostly sponsor/team pitting. There will be an ample amount of additional pit space available 2 doors down from the track, with audio and scoring available. The nearest airport to MRH is BWI, & there are several hotel & motel options available within 15-20 minutes of MRH, with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Sadly it couldn't come together for Scotty.
Maryland and its Crab Cakes culture doesn't really compare to the Vegas Strip... but the racers in Maryland, and the MRH facility are pretty top notch..
