Wow, I did not intend for any of this to drag out like it has. I appreciate those that have shared thoughtful input on this matter either way. Yes, post 1 states we are following ROAR rules. I thought that by following what NORCAR does for the Halloween Classic would just make things easier on everyone. I guess I didn't realize how huge of a negative impact that could have.

I've spent much of the past 24+ hours kicking around some ideas on how exactly I wanted to handle this because there are a few options. I've decided that our race does not need to have any fancy or special rules, so we will simply follow what the roar rules state. This shouldn't be an issue for anyone because it is is also what applies for IIC and Snowbirds. My main objective for this event is for everyone to have a good time.

Thanks

Racermac73, you need all the help you can get......you need to strap a .12 nitro motor to the side of your sled.

Boosters were always allowed. Rx packs are allowed. Super caps are not ROAR legal, and they have already enforced this at Nats by making people remove them.

Yep, pro is open to anyone. Those who have made any A-Main in the past 5 years at IIC, Birds, Nats, Halloween Classic, U.S. Indoor Champs, and Mile High in either 17.5, 13.5 or Mod TC & 1/12 may not enter the Open class. This does not count for any of the USGT, VTA, F1 or Sportsman classes that any of those headline events might offer.
