Thank you, I will try them next time I order something from rainbowten. Have you ever tried HPI wheels/tyres? My local shop is HPI distributer in my country and their foam donuts are much cheaper than the Jaco.

Yeah, I got HPI wheels too.... seems pretty good so far.

I'm not sure if the HPI donuts are as hard as the Jaco's. I don't like TRC cause it's softer than Jaco's. The ideal is to get Yokomo donuts, but good luck getting those!

I think that it's much harder than the Jaco green dot. They still have the same diameter after 3-4 pack of batteries. But I'm very slow right now (may be 1/2 speed ). It also smell the same as Ellegi foams.

I remember that you're using the PDS-947 servo, right? I have some question about it. My 947's output shaft can move slightly along it axis. Is this normal?

Are they harder than Jaco purple's?

As for the 947 goes, it shouldn't do that. Mine doesn't.

One more thing..... Skid Mark and I are experiencing torque steer to the left when you pull the trigger hard... we are looking into it with Yokmo USA.

My setup....
Front flat blocks
.18 spring
Red shock spring
.017 t-bar from L3
24/100 with 10X2 Reedy Ti
45mm front purple tires, 47mm rear grey tires, all Jaco's

With this car, you can't just toss it in the corner like the L3, you have to drive the corner.

Thanks for your help in the 1/12 forum!
But I have more questions, which I like to ask here, because I think I will use an aftermarket 4 cell main chassis to convert my 12L3 into somthing like the Yokomo!

@litespeed-dom: I noticed you run the KoPropo PDS947FET servo without receiver pack. Is this servo better suited to run 4 cell without receiver pack than the Airtronics?????/Sanwa141HR? I currently use the Sanwa, but dont want to use a receiver pack!

What parts are available in Titanium for the 12L3 and which of those come with the Yokomo kit?

I used to run a rec'ver pack w/ 3000's, but not anymore. I race my car for the first time today... didn't have any rec'ver pack and it worked fine, never dumped or anything. Masami ran that servo at Worlds as well, so is Josh (Cyrul).

I fixed the torque steer problem by using the green spring that comes in the kit. go figure. I'm still not sure about using the .075 t bar. i think i like the stock .058 better. the car for me reacts better with it.

Well, it's the first race at Rain, right? How was the traction? The traction was good at Ron's.

Default HPI tire

I think that I have to rethink about my HPI foams. I just has a chance to run my 12L3 on high traction asphast track at full speed yesterday. It wear out about 1.5 mm after 3-4 pack. It was a 14s track with about 30m straight.

Let get back to the Yokomo topic. Does the SSG chassis direct fit to the 12L3? Can I use original 12L3 T-Bar with it? I think that I might have to replace my chassis soon and considering the Yokomo chassis.Thanks.
