i have to agree with Dom. if you add up all the little things that he mentioned and had to put them on another car it would be the same. plus, arent the carpet knife pretty spendy. i would rather have my yok. its just a cool car and fast too!

Skid....but yours and mine are pushing the 1/8th scale price here! With all the Ti stuff, Teflon stuff....not to mention the hard labor to polish every blue out to be chrome!

You were right about a point. We can build our 1/12th to be awesome looking cause it doesn't get all jimmyed up and dirty. I mean, what the hell is the point of making my MRX3 look nice? After a 30 minute main, they all look the same!

I am waiting on my car to get here on Tuesday so I have not seen one in person yet. I hate to sound like a noob but do the batteries tape in or is there some kind of hold down with it?

You still use tape... but you can run one continuously. But Skid would say otherwise, right Skid?

I have been racing a bloody red 6 pack and tape is all we use. So what gives with the other option other than tape?

Don't get me wrong, we still use tape. Only Skid uses this special tape it's like 2 mm wide and he doesn't run it all the way around.

OK I thought maybe you guys had something else that came with the car. Tape is good. So 3300's are a tight fit?

Yeah, they fit great! Just had to file down the battery slots and the upper brace, just like you would with 3000's.

yes i use two pieces of tape. i feel its cleaner that way. yes i have special 2mm straping tape. its rare just like the yokomo, theres only two rolls of that tape in the whole USA and i have them both!!!!! you can only get it from a midget who lives under a rock on an unchartered island in the south pacific.

12L3 owners...

4cell chassis is now available. same as the YRX-12 but in black graphite. More than half the cost for the silver chassis alone.
you can order it from RcModel in HK.
