Hi Guys,

We got our shipment of Yokomo YRX-12WE spare and option parts in late yesterday afternoon. I will try and get them online as soon as I can. Also, I'm working on trying to convince Yokomo USA to bring in the rims once again (I don't think they realize how good their rims are )

Thanks

is this car really limited to 100 in the U.S. I seem to be seeing quite a few people say they have them and speedtech has said they are filling a full second order of them?

Just got my car yesterday, spent 4 hours taking all the goodies off my L3 to put it on the Yok. I was going to put the magnesium motor mount on the Yok but I guess the Yok pod are lowered.... like the IRS pods. Guess I'll have to stick with the Yok rear pods. For 3300 I had to file down the battery slot and the upper brace as well. And kudos to the lower rear pod graphite plate, now changing motor is a piece of cake!!!
I went with the Lundsford Ti axle and the normal L3 offset steering blocks instead of the inline but yet offset axle that Yok has. Other than that, besides the 2 black pivot ball holders won't fit the AE T-bar (the little 4 screw holes are different), every went well. Should have a pic tonight and will post.

Can't wait to run it!!!

Dom

Just came back from weighing my car. I wouldn't say it's heavy but it isn't light either.

My setup:
All upper steel screws replaced by Ti screws (I don't think they made any weight differences)
Novak XXL
GMV12xc
KO digital servo
Peak Aurora 11X3
Parma Speed 8 light body
Lunsford Ti front axles
Integy GP3300

Totaly weight came out to 29.1oz and I don't have my transponder mount on there yet. I'm thinking it's the rear bulkhead and motor mount that's heavy.

those 3300 aren't necessary light either. Compare to Panasonic UMH at 8.5 oz, my Integy's are at 9.3

Talk to Skid Marks, he ran his car this past weekend. Won both mod and stock class, blistering pace!!!

We came to conclusion that it might look like an L3, setup is different than an L3.

Skid, DUUDE I chromie out everything!!! I put the magnesium motor mount back in there and polish that SOB out too! TIGHT!!!

Not sure about a carpet setup, but not to put off or anything, but the YRX-12 and their "older" 12L3 2001 Special are designed for asphalt racing......
But the car is awesome, you'll love it.....

I heard that too, but I dont believe it. I think the car is way better than a 12L3 on carpet. racerrandy, send me an email and i'll give you the hook up!
