HPI rims work pretty well. You can also try Sorex Rim which is very hard.

Speedworld Raceway has pretty much all the Yokomo wheels. Call Billy @ 916-783-8864 or www.speedworldraceway.com

Thanks guys, I'll try them!

As for setup concern, are you guys setting up the YRX12 the same setup as if you would be running the L3?

yes, I would.. Both cars very pretty much identical, except for chassis material and battery placement.

As far as weight concern, how are you guys' Yoks weighing in at? I notice that Masami put weights on his at the Worlds. I got my L3 to weigh at 28.2 oz, but with mag motor mount, lots of titanium screws and all AE optional stuff, Parma lightweight body.

Do sorex make 1/12 scale rims? I don't think they do, do they?

Went to my buddy's house and check out his Yok, Mine is coming on Monday. We weighed everything, untrued tires, Orion chrome 10x2, 3000 4-cells, Parma lightweight body, Quantum Competition, Hitec servo comes to 28.3 oz. Not shabby at all, I figure I'll be replacing all steel screws with Ti screws and mag motor mount, I should be able to get the lightest car possible by rules.

One concern, I don't like the oversize front axles and those bearings have a bad track record of blowing, I want to go with the normal L3 front axles but titanium, where can I find those? Another buddy of mine told me he got his years ago from Lunsford, but I doubt he carries that anymore. Any help on finding where I can find those Ti axles?

Search for "lunsford" and look at R/C Car Axles / Dogbones / CVD Kits category. It look very nice.

Tifosi,

Thanks! Love your name, I use that name on my maxima.org board too. Unfortunately you got here first and took the name.
Oh well....

It doesn't say for 12th scale... but I'm thinking this is it.

Default Sorry!

Sorry, I can't help you about that I had used this name at Hobby Talk and YokomoUSA too. I think that I'm not registered to RCCA RC Zone yet so you can use these name there but it's going to be very confused

I remember that Stormer Hobbies also have titanium axle too but from other manufacture. Maybe HG.

tifosi

PS. Are you the red team's fan too? I think that I don't even need to ask

Last post I was talking about my name.

Yes, It's what I told you. I think that AE use the these same part for all their on-road pan car (1/10 && 1/12). You can check part no at Lunsford web site.
