It's AE hardware that is used in the Yok 1/12 car so I don't know what kind of problems you are having, the screws should fit with no problems

I know what you mean. I have to re-countersunk the chassis myself to make the screw fit properly. apperently Yokomo use a different angle countersunk bit that does not match the angle of the associated screw set....

I bought this "YSP12HC4H Yokomo, YRX-12 CHASSIS-4 CELL, hard " and I also has the YRX-12WE. The YSP12HC4H chassis is the worst on the countersunk finish. The SSG chassis is not as bad as the YSP12HC4H but it is not prefect fit like the original Associated 12L3 chassis.

So even with the W.E. KIT you had problems? What type of countersunk bit do you have becouse I have a metric countersunk bit that has an angle o 90. So even with the WE kit you had problems?

for all you guys (including me) that wanted a thicker chassis, Yokomo will be releasing a thicker SSG chassis for the 1/12 car sometime over the summer. I don't have the part # for it yet and it won't be made until the graphite supplier is finished with all the graphite for the new TC.

not yet, actually Mo still has it from the snowbirds. I'm going to wait until Billy sprays the track before I venture out on the track at speedworld with it. I'm racing 1/12 mod at the speedworld cup and the norrca nats with it.

I got a YRX12WE and everything went perfect, even the screw fittings. Nice and flush with the chassis. Maybe you got a bad kit?
