Default APEX...

Mimi said everyone is backordered on the chassis.. she checked everywhere she could.

Guys!! i had a great weekend with my car was able to lap the field other 12th scalers .. we run a 19t spec class.. what a blast it was.. Tq'd and won the A-main with a lap over the field!!!

the number 2 car was the new corally car!!! with an experienced 12th scaler!!

Everyone watched and was very surprised at the outcome!!

One weekend was great!! Gotta keep it up consistently!!!
IM HOOKED ON 12TH SCALE!!!

FASTEST LAP FROM OTHER DRIVER WAS 15.1 SECONDS
MY FASTEST WENT 14.8 SECONDS!!

NOT BAD FOR A CAR THAT WASNT SUPPOSED TO WORK ON INDOOR CARPET. AND THE ONLY YOKOMO CAR OUT THERE!!!

If you run the stock chassis on high bite carpet, like how it gets after a big 2 or 3 day race, then you'll know why we say you need a stiffer chassis for carpet. I didn't believe everyone either at first, but after experiencing how wierd a 1/12 car feels when the chassis is too soft I am now a believer. On the other hand I can't wait to get this car on the asphalt, it should be unbeatable

I have run the car on high bite conditions and I ran purple fronts and grey rears, .20 front springs, AE thick T-bar, and 3.5mm ride height front and rear. I ran the reactive castor in the front but if I had to do it all over again I probably would of ran the non-reactive front. The car was driveable but could of benefited from a thicker chassis. Chris T. and Jason Moberly from Yokomo are going to the snowbirds and last I heard they were both running 1/12 as well. If you have any problems track down one of them.

I found a filled out one on www.yokomo.co.jp from Masami. If you can read japanese it might help. I didn't do any digging to see if there was a blank one though. I don't see why you couldn't use one from a 12L3 though, the suspension systems are the same, just the battery layout is different.

Default matt.

yeah i kinda know chris T. from previous years. i did seeear a him last year at snowbirds also.. we had a few smoke breaks together.. i think a local driver by the name of andrew gray, trinity driver moved from our area and is now living with him!??!

hopefully i can get some help.. i did buy the heavier springs on the front.. .22 and .24.. hopefully it will help some.. couple of other things i wanna try.

so you think running the nonreactive caster is the way to go for high bit traction?? gonna try it this weekend. how much caster??with regular setup?

freak.

thanks for your time.

RCFREAK- I spent about 7 years in N.J. before moving out to Cali so I know Andrew as well, and he is Chris's roommate. I didn't really play with the castor much but I ran the graphite brace in the back with the 2 spacers in the front of the blocks. Not sure exactly how much that is

I am going to run the car with the old skool front end this weekend. I made a front end brace out of an old chassis so now the only flex in the car is in the middle. There is still quite a bit of chassis flex, but we'll see what happens.

I remember Matt Howard. He's the guy that would always kick me, andrew, and karwan's a$$ whenever we went to Englishtown.
