He said "Let me get this straight, you let Godson running 3000HV to beat all of you...." I'm hooking up with him during lunch tomorrow, I'm sure I'll hear more. BTW, I'm selling him my L3 for $75. Though technically I got 2nd, but I'm still a bit ticked that I got hacked and by the 2nd corner I'm in dead last, and the field was like 2 corners ahead of me. I blew by Godson in the start with no problem and almost passed Ellis in the first corner, but some one just launched me in the air. With that Yokmo, I naturally have more expectation to drive better. I'm pretty damn sure I could have won if not for the 1st corner shunt.

tifosi, what compound (dot color) are the HPI tires that you were running? the Jaco greens wear about 1mm per run at the carpet track where I race. where can you get HPI 1/12 scale tires?

the yokomo chassis will fit but you have to get the yoke top piece, the thing that holds down the batteries and the stand offs for that, i think they are different height. the t-bar and pod will fit perfectly with no mods.

Avink1,

Thanks.I don't know what compound it was. I bought them in donuts and ask the shop owner for the hardest compound. The description are also in Japanese. BTW I don't live in the USA and I bought them from local shop here. I'm afraid that they might not available in USA. The good thing that they are pretty cheap. About US$17 for 3 pairs of rear donuts and about US$10 for 3 pairs of front donuts.

So the old 12L3 chassis brace will not fit the Yokomo chassis . Does the old brace conflict with the new battery position? BTW I had read from Yokomo USA website that the battery position can be adjusted. How to do that?

Tifosi,
the battery slots are longer than the cells so you can slide them forward a bit if you want. theres not alot of room for movement but theres enough.

Dom,
if you are last in in the first corner you still could've won. i agree that with this car people expect you to drive better be faster and so on. i feel the same pressure here. i should come down again and show you guys how its done! hehehe good job though on your first outing with the car. you'll get better i know.

maybe he wants to win at Ron's first to gain some confidence before he comes up to challenge you.

Dude! You are jimmyed up!!! I'll get you Hooked on Phonics for X'mas!

Anyway, so what was your final setup for the Main? I ran extremely small tires.... you happen to have a rollout chart?

Dom- If you want a roll out chart, I can whip one up in Excel for you. Just give me the spur or spurs that you use and the tire size range you want included.

Yeah, Zen I am too! But the guys kept asking me last weekend, and I'm like "Dude, I don't use it!" I thought you might have one to satisfy their curiosity! Before I forget, you are swinging by on Friday, right?

Hey Chad, yeah that will be great! Thanks! Don't do one for Randy, he doesn't deserve it!

I run 100 and 94 spurs, same tire sizes as Randy's.

BTW Chad, where were you last weekend? We only got 3 classes!!!
