Just got myself an R3-G for some club racing plastic/FRP class. Overall car feels quite decent out of the box, but I’m having issues with the roll bars binding. More specifically the ball cups binding on the arms. They do not move freely at all. Also where the bars sit on the bulkheads, how much do i tighten the set screws?

The set screws should only reduce the up/down play. You do not want them tight enough to bind the bar.

As for the ball cups, check for flashing on the ball on the arm. If they're clean, then gently squeeze the ball cup with pliers while mounted on the ball to loosen them up.

Hi
What is the internal ratio of this chassis. I checked the manual and googled it. Not turning up any useful results. Is there a base carpet setup using the new motor mount and shock tower (low profile)?

Thanks
Any recommendation of spares or mods?

1.9:1 is the internal FDR and the best two people to talk to about carpet setting will be either :

Andrew Bird
Or
Hiski
On the facebook page for the brand.

First time to race the T3M. TQ and win in the modified class. Pretty good car for the price. Not yet sure about the nonlinear feel of the 8 deg KPI knuckle, but it does give good steering.

Well Porsha wins with TT01's, so...

Good job to her no matter what!

Enjoyed the day comparing the SNRC R3 Pro with the Race Opt T3M. Similar chassis but totally different movement on track. Probably the best value racing chassis.

Managed to set the new track record with the T3M. Difficult to drive but very fast.

Im really leaning toward a R3 Pro since Im pretty new to onroad and the plastic arms / hinge pins are much more durable than a carbon fiber / pivot setup.

And from your video, its also easier to tune.
