Here is what I did, and you guys might think I am crazy.
After waiting for my packages from rcmart for 3 weeks, I ordered a chassis from apex this morning, and it will be shipped through Usps priority mail.
But knowing Usps sucks, I made another order on apex website for the same item with fedex second day option.
Lol, so totally, I bought 3 alum chassis in the past 3 weeks.
At this point, I really don't care how much I spend. I want it and I want it now.
Without those chassis for tuning, it is pointless to run my car, but I really wanna return to track asap.
My car has been sitting in the box, unassembled for 2 weeks.
Hope I explained my frustrations clearly.

Ok so I pulled the trigger and picking my car up tonight...so is there anything specific I need to do to run 17.5 to make it a better car than the low friction belts ti hardware and what should I start for gearing

id get 42-48. though with 96 48 is HUGE. 100x40ft we are running 43/92 44/96 46/100 ish combos or 4.05-4.16 on average. some of the guys are down around 3.8 ect but the faster guys over 4 for sure with the modern short stack motors. definitely spend some time on timing adjustment of the motor too. sometimes less is more. cranking to 50+ is often not the answer.
built my 16 with the hard aluminum chassis today.. i didnt really wanna get into any kind of flex alumium as it seems the opposite of what i want by having an aluminum chassis to begin with. so i have the stock graphite and hard aluminum. two extremes. i might pick up the adjustable avid topplate to run with the aluminum chassis or low traction ashphalt ect. but we never really run on what is considered low traction. always sugarwatered.
we changed the layout tonight so i wasnt expecting the aluminum chassis to be great on green patchy traction but it had just th eright amount of slide i was looking for. car felt consistant and that is what im looking for.
ps. no need for belts atm. new stock belts are very free. just take your time assembling the car and it will be free.

Can someone recommend a setup for medium sized asphalt track running 17.5 blinky and Gravity RC USGT Spec tires?

looking for some aftermarket C-Clip ECS driveshafts for my T4, I have been looking at the Arrowmax ones I haven't been impressed by any of the Radtec stuff since they have gone away from the Roche brand, never really been impressed with anything from Spec R, what would you guys recommend?

When it was hot ie track temps over 50 deg C with the kit arms I found the car felt like it was binding mid corner. Hard to explain but the car would become unstable and just didn't feel right.
When I switched the graphite arms the car generated slightly more mid corner grip and was more stable and consistent.
But I was testing medium vs hard vs graphite C hubs, uprights and arms in winter with track temps less than 10 deg C. The difference between kit arms and graphite arms was not something that I could determine by feel or lap times.
The different between C hubs and uprights was small but still noticeable though.

Hey I had a couple questions
On the setup sheet where the wheelbase is what are the 0 1 1 obviously related to hub spacing but what does it tell
And when it talks about o-ring on shaft it relates to inside the body or like up travel limiter
And is there any tips to calming the car down and not be so aggressive
Standard carpet setup
Mixed medium track carpet
TQ raceway
And last starting gearing for 17.5
Thank you
