John,

Is there any way we could use Windows media player to view the races?

Thanks

Nice, call me later today or email me I'll setup an ftp server for you to zap them back up to me ...I've got "primitive tools" at best for video conversion and video editing as that is not what I do for a mainstay.

....it's not a matter of my isp, I've actually got a 10 meg fiber optic dedicated line pulled into my offfice, I just can't have all my bandwidth sucked up y lots of racers downloading 80 meg files ...I think my paying customers wouldn't understand, that's why I bandwith throtled them ;-)

That's cause you "inline pictured" them, so everyone that looked at the thread saw the pictures ;-) ...probably won't really notice anything new as I bandwidth throttled the ip with a 768 max, and set it with a low priority, my pipe is pretty much at about 80-90% capacity during normal working hours with all my clients on it.

Hey Kevin,

As a mac person till I die, i would say no, but I can get them to .avi and .aiff
though I cant remember if WMP reads those.

As I work on the new ones for Harsh, I might be able to pump it out to .mpeg and I know both WMP and QT can read those.

I'll let you know. Find out for me if WMP can read those other two formats above

Thanks

Quicktime for Windows is the devil. It has always been bloated and I've heard that it now tries to install itunes as well.

If you want to play .mov files on a PC running windows, try the Quicktime alternative:

Don't worry. The future can involve you too.

Quicktime standalone player.

Quicktime Stand Alone Player

As for .avi i just finished it, but it looks like crap and bumped it back up to .45 megs.

I'll keep working on it.

Yea my "crude convertors" had the same effect converting the .mov to .avi, .mpg or .wmv ....way loss of quality and a lot bigger file.

I just saw the video and that race was awesome. Does anyone know what turn mod motor were the guys running? Also, what stock and 19t were the winners running? Thanks,

Josh
