Question- I spoke with Billy at Stockton about practice for Thursday, and he mentioned there MAY be some type of "event" after controlled practice pending ROAR approval. Does anyone know if anything has happened with that. If I can make it out there it won't be until Wednesday night, and only 2 runs Thursday would suck, lol.

Probably not, we were talking about possibly an evening race one of the days, but the reality is we're already going to have a *ton* of stuff to do with just "the normal nat's business and organization" and once the sun goes down the track temps drop pretty quickly, so although we have some kickin lights over the track, the track conditions would be nowhere near the daytime conditions. We are thinking about having open practive either before or after the controlled practice, 10 drivers at a time - 3 minute runs kind of things, just depends on if we can schedule it on kind of a thing.

OK, we've added 3 Sunday practice days before the nats:

Sunday April 30th
Sunday May 21st
Sunday May 28th

Sunday practice is 9:00am - 4:00pm, $10.00 for the day (no partial day rate), check in with Scotty Barnes, schedule has been updated. These are the only Sunday's we could squeeze in due to scheduling issues (track prep stuff and Mothers Day).

With only a little over 5 weeks away from the paved Nationals, I just wanted to remind everyone that the late fee deadline for the paved nationals is May 7th. Any online entries after May 7th or mail in entries postmarked after May 7th will be subject to a $20.00 late registration fee, so if you are planning on signing up , remember to get your signup in before May 7th!

Also, I found out information on RV parking, the fairgrounds has an RV parking area with hookups available for $25.00 per day. If you are interested in this please contact Billy Bowerman so he can get the information needed to the fairground folks, you can email Billy at [email protected] or call him at Speedworld at 916-783-8864.

Will the online list of people signed up only show online registrations or will it be updated with mail in as well?
