Default LiPo in Pan Car?

Have any of y'all put lipo's in a 1/10th or 1/12 onroad pan car? I was thinking about trying it. The problem is it would need to be a saddle pack for my 10L3. Any specific loose lipo cells that you would recommend? What discharge rate would they need to be able to handle for a stock motor?

You may find more information about this at the radiocontrolzone.com forums, specifically the brushless motor thread.

I have run brushless in my rc10L3 touring, but not lipo yet. Lots of fun even with small amounts of power.
