Battery tape is repulsive until you actually try it. Then you never go back.

You should do a build review on RCO with pictures.

Nice car.

I used to race the Yokomo YRF2 many, many years ago. I liked how light 2wd cars are and their simplicity.

Unfortunately though on lower grip tracks it obviously took a while for them to get off the line compared to 4wd cars.

I had an FF01 Tamiya before that, but obviously it wasn't competitive enough to be raced against better stuff.
Ha ha... I have a YFR-2 right now... As well as a FF01 Nissan Primera special edition (came with paint)

I've been having a lot of fun in off road racing, but having a real life rsx type s that I race, I want a ff kit so bad. Awesome pics and I look forward to seeing everything when it's done.

Well, I didn't get an RSX body for it (not sure if that even exists), but I did get a Euro-spec Honda Civic body for it. Painted it pearl-white, and it will eventually have red-and-gunmetal racing decals on it, but first I need to add an undercoating of plain white to seal-in the sparkly bits in the pearl-white top coat. Contemplating tinting the windows, but I've never done that before and I don't know how to do it without ruining the white paint. Masking everything except the windows is obviously the most comprehensive solution, but that's SO MUCH WORK for a body that will eventually get scratched-up and look like crap anyway.

Couldn't you just get a cheap tint kit from a a store? Just cut a square then apply it. I know some people paint them, but I don't see why this wouldn't work. Not to mention you'd have much left over and could always take it off if you wanted to.

That's a thought, and I may do that to try it and see if I like it. How well does the cheap tint film stick, though? Whenever I see it on glass it's always bubbled and loose.

I think it would be fine for r/c it'd just be like a translucent sticker.

Fair enough. I'll swing by the auto parts store and see if they have any window-tint film in-stock.

Cool, let me know how it goes. Also they do have a couple rsx bodies, just different JDM tuning shops dc5 integra bodies.

Finished the Civic body, minus the window tint. Ugh...so many decals...

Almost done with this build, though. I just need to weigh the left and right sides of the chassis, add lead weights to balance it if necessary, and tune the suspension to work with the body installed.
