The internal ratio is the same as the 747e so you can use this calculator on the serpent site. http://www.serpent.com/file.php?FileID=5916 I picked up some Contact RC foams and a Team Powers Actinium 4.5T motor - it was only 700kV under the next highest but about a third to half the cost. I'll be running my Brushless Hobbies 120A ESC in this car as well. A couple 3300 packs, a couple 4400 packs, and a couple 5500 packs. How long should these packs last if I'm just tooling around the culdesac/speed runs? It's a shame I cannot race it at least not yet. Maybe it will take off if I practice with it at the track. |
Shoot I should have picked up a 4 pole 540??? What kV?
|
Hi. Great news. Welcome to the snake pit ;)
That gear will be fine. Don't worry too much about the kv etc just add a little timing boost and turbo and you'll be all good. Also don't bother with 4-pole. You should get around 6-7 minutes from the 5500. I'm assuming 2s on that electronics setup? 1/8th electric you need to consider the 977e - brilliant car! Run at the track as much as you can. Once people see it they will want one too. That's what happened at my local track! |
I will! Yea 2s.
Does anyone make GTP/Lola bodies for 200mm? Also where are yall getting those wide rear tires from (747e thread)? |

The Tyres are standard 30mm foams (26mm front) which you can get anywhere that supports 1/10th 200mm TC class. The GTP/Lola bodies are available from Blitz for one. RCM has them in stock. If you want the ultra wide foams for the car for the GTP class you can get them from Xceed as one of the manufacturers. |

If you're in the NY/NJ/PA/DE area, we'll be racing 200mm Electric and Nitro at Jackson RC Raceway this year.
