Below this text box is a options box then a "attach file" box. Attach the file from there. But you can't edit previous posts to do it, it must be a new post to have the option.

I built a few new cars that are on my web page. a few pretty decent 1/8 scales and a dirt omega.

the one 1/8 scle i got 11 laps in 5 min on the dirtbowl. the Omega dirt is cool running on the dirtbowl with the track hight at 0.1 its like a dirt onroad track or somthing its fun.

i uploaded a few of them to my site if anyone is interested

Anyone having problems with the RealRace controler and little glitches whle driving? i ordered this game port to USB converter from USB cable and MAN it works AWSOME!

i dont get any little twitches from my controler anymore its dead even at 0 on both controles (steering and throttle)

it was $26.95 but worth every penny. wait till you see some of my races now. man i can really drive better with this little device.

Unhappy Drifting

Sis got me real race for Christmas... Not bad, but there are features I would like to see... maybe they will do an ADD on disk like they did with their airplane sim....

Right now I have a problem with the controller drifting left to right... what is a possible fix for this??

And what's the word on this game port to USB , is it a worth while investment??

Thanks

Rich

Anyone mess with the Yaw, pitch and roll of the cars? DAMN! i cant believe how much it helps. I think all the cars were set the same and we all know they arnt ALL the same. a 10th scale electric has WAY different properties than a 7 pound 1/8 scale.

I have been messing with this a little and DAMN i cant believe how it changes the way the cars handle. Most of the cars i didnt like they way the drive. They didnt seem very realistic accept the omega, that was the only car i felt drove halfway decent, the more i mess with the cars the better they seem to get. I am however running my physics in the game settings to 140% this takes more CPU and GPU power so they are turned down to keep the minimum system requirements down. This makes it for a wider range or users but also hurts the game play of the simm. With the properties down low it gives a toy, or game feel. This is far from a game, when you get everthing set like they should be it becaomes a VERY acurate TOOL and ive learned so much its amazing.

They built the program, they didnt design the cars and thats why they are like they are. I dont think most of the people that built this simm know much or are interested in R/C like we are so they dont have that experance. I feel taht hurt the quality of the simm because most of the cars wernt setup like they should be and didnt drive near what they can.

If you have this simm, mess with it more. Pick a car that your VERY firmiluar with and start clicking. If you have a good machine crack the graphics up and crack the physics to max. Things get ALOT better.
