My first mod was a Daimond. Not sure of the wind but it totaly destroyed the Trinity Gold's all my buddies were running...so my friends went out and bought Diamond mods as well.

Reedy Rage Type R also the best motor i ever had Paz! because i had only just started out racing i didnt even know that you could cut the comm so i must have ran it for at least 35-50 runs was still going strong, then i had to replace the brushes and found out about this "skimming" shizzle.

Well let me see if I can get the old memory to kick in.....Ok, I see it. A black label Mabachi 540, my first after market motor. Then a original monster stock, Red Diamond mod, a Losi Revolution, Lemans, Race Prep...mind getting too cloudy again. Man those were the days, 4 min races with a 27t and dumping 3 mins in.... Priceless.

Here are some of my cool retro motors that I had (some I still have some in a box somewhere)

- Tamiya Technigold
- Kyosho Lemans 240 (the longer one with wet magnets)
- Team Losi Revolution Insane (that was the coolest motor back in the day...)
- Team Checkpoint - gold label (still have this baby)
- Ayk silver can (runs my motor lathe now)
- Joel Johnson stock - I have a few of these babies
- Team Losi stock (worked awesome in my Jrx2 - and that's where it stays)
- A 14 turn double Mabuchi stock ... sounded like a vacuum cleaner (hand-wound prototype motor by my brother back in the day)
- I just dug-up my old Kyosho motor checker the other day ... it was in a box with my Mid Optima SP and a classic Winner radio.
