Whats the difference between a series and parallel connector? When running two lipos in an rc which one should you use?

Series multiplies the voltage so two 2s packs in series would be like a 4s pack.

Parallel multiplies the capacity so two 5000mah 2s packs would be like a 10,000mah 2s pack.
