Default Best On Road Vehicles

Some of you may know me from racing off-road for TLR , but I am originally a road course driver dating back 15 years give or take . I am starting to get the itch to race on road again. I would like to gather some of your opinions on which sedan and 12th scale are best currently in the market. I used to run for Xray and their sedan at the time was the T1.

Corey, this is going to be another popularity poll.

Choose either ARC, XRay, Yokomo, Tamiya, HP, Awesomatix

Xray is a good choice. My 1st Xray was a T1 FK04 which was their game changing car for them. If you want to run a 1/12 and Sedan from the same manufacturer, then Xray is a no brainer. Most sedans are competitive nowadays. 1/12 is the same. CRC,Speedmerchant,TOP, etc etc are all good and there are several new cars that look great too. Like mentioned, it's really up to preference. Too bad Losi didn't build a sedan like the old days.

Corey if you've been around for a while you know this kind of topic usually gets nowhere...

Clearly but I thought times have changed Lonestar! hah. I was simply asking for anthers constructive criticism on chassis type for a competitive racer. I will just go with what I know then..

racenut- thank you for being the only one that gave me an answer that made sense! I will go with the Xray chassis....

macscac- thank you for your sarcasm with your "radio shack" response... The funny thing is I could run circles around you with a "radio shack" car .

No problem. I knew the type of responses you may get. "Do a search...You are only inviting trouble asking a question like this....." blah blah blah. I don't even currently run an Xray TC or 1/12 but several of my friends do. Quality is 2nd to none and the cars are proven fast club racing or at Big races. Easy to check the stats. I just picked up the F1 from them. As nice as any Xray to date. I figured you had experience with them, you know they have quality stuff and as far as onroad, they have a complete competitive lineup.

Like niznai's signature, it's all about driving skills and set up. If those two match up, you will be happy and fast. Some complain their cars understeer and some complain the opposite. Aggressive drivers like aggressive car and smoother drivers smooth car. If you know how to make changes to your liking, any car should be fine. But from my experience, Serpent Eryx 3.0 is an awesome car to have.

I have made the choice to go back to Xray and run the T4'15. Hopefully my next question wont be as controversial... What is "the body" to run? Back in my day it was the Stratus and later the Alfa Romero(hopefully I didnt date myself ) THanks ...
