Worth the $60 for the carbon for carpet? I'm new to on road but I'd assume I don't want more flex...
fiber chassis stiffness may surprise you.

might even have to take some screws out for extra asphalt grip.

So do I want the carbon fiber edition or not? $60 isn't much but I'm really trying to keep the cost to a minimum since it's off road season still and that's what I prefer.

Well if you don't like it or racing onroad. The Carbon version would be easier to sell.

Anyone have any feed back on the Ghost EVO RM SPEC? Looks like a killer car for the price.

Are you guys running the 6.0 mm hexes in the rear? I've mounted up a pfm-10 and I'm getting a little tire rubbing on both sides of the rear. I thought using the 5.0's might help. My other option would be to shorten the wheelbase at bit, I suppose. I'll be using it in a 25.5 scale spec class.

I run the 5mm in the rear with the +6 offset wide VTA rear tires.

If your running a pf10 you really should cut the rear wheel wells a good bit more to prevent body tuck. I also shoo gooed some lexan stiffeners to the rear of the wheel wells. Otherwise it's a great body.

I ended up doing a little of everything. Shortened the wheelbase a bit, trimmed the body and used the 5mm hex. We'll see how it goes. Anyone happen to have any tips for a setup with usgt tire on carpet? -- Al

I just assembled my Ghost Evo base model, the car looks great and offers a ton of aluminium, for the money this kit has huge bang for buck!

As far as chassis flex well I'm going to be primarily running on asphalt and fiberglass was my choice due to the flex of it is greater than carbon which is what you would want for more grip, carbon edition offers lightweight and a few other upgrades for the money and would be worth the additional money but this is a USGT car for me and I am considering a Wildfire D07 for faster classes.

The kit build was excellent though I had the shock oil seal caps (bladders) missing from the kit everything else was there and the quality was exceeding of my expectations!

Track test and setup will come later this week as I am waiting for tires and body to complete the USGT build.

I look forward to hearing your about your experience with the car. I have about 2 weeks until I can put some laps on mine. I'll be running usgt tires as well.
