Default Xray X1 F1 hubs for Xray X10 2015 Setup

Hello,

Has anyone attempted to use the new Xray X1 rear axle hubs and front wheel axles on the Xray X10 2015 kit to be able to run rubber F1 tires? The X1 and X10 use the same exact rear axle other than the different design of the rear hubs and the front axles look similar to each other.

My goal is to be able to run the x10 on a rubber f1 setup for asphalt track use. The track is a large size high traction layout normally used for nitro 1/10 & 1/8 sedans, etc. Where i would normally run 1s & 13.5t on carpet for WGT, I'm also wondering if I should jump to 2s and 9.5 or 10.5 to make the experience worthwhile.

All opinions & suggestions welcome..

I've tried with vbc lightningf rear axle on lightning 10 and it fits almost perfectly with 2 shims on each side. it might be the same for the xray
for the front you may have to drill your f1 upright (3mm king ping) to fit the pancar king pin size

Hi,
I have been planning to do the same with my x10. The rear and front hubs are easily changed. The main issue is that the x10 Bulkheads have 29,5 mm height compared to 36 mm of X1. This leads to very high car right height when equipped with RIDE r1 tyres -something above 12mm at minimum. You have to shim the bulkheads and the front to get something reasonable, but then you have the motor too high. I was thinking the proper way to do the conversion is to use X1 bulkheads.
