From the features description:

"7075 aluminum main shaft holder, precise adjustment ride height by spacers. +/-1mm forward/backward main shaft position adjustment."

I can see how the forward/backward is adjusted but is the ride height adjusted by adding spacers under the bearing cap/holder? If that is the way it is done what is the ride height with no spacers? And are spacers included in the kit?

Thanks

Looks like the same way the TOP car adjusts ride height in the rear.

rear ride height is performed the say ways the TOP Rebel 12.
page 5, step 13 of the manual highlights how this is accomplished.

as for your other questions about --

1- what is the ride height w/o any shims -- dont know yet. will be able to answer that question in 1-2 days once i build my first kit

2- what shims are included in the kit? again, not sure yet. any standard 3mm ID shim would be sufficient to adjust rear ride height.

will provide updates about the build over the next few days --- once customer orders are shipped.

I don't have my Yokomo R12 anymore but that chassis looks very similar to it. Car looks great overall, I really like the simplicity of the Xenon front end, I have it on two cars currently.

Ok thanks I see from the manual that by flipping the bearing holder over you get a course adjustment and then fine tune with a shim or two as needed. Please update once you get yours built as I would like to know what the smallest size rear tire that could be run with a 3mm ride height.

That's a really nice looking car...I like how they have it where you can run an in-line off-set battery on either side of the chassis. One question though...I see several un-used screw holes and an oval hole in the chassis...what are these for? Especially the oval hole...wouldn't that affect it so it flexes more to one side than the other?

Looks to me like an option to run the servo "inline" with a swing rack the way the Yokomo does. There is also a hole in the center of the chassis where a swing rack might mount to it. Probably some additional parts in the works for that somewhere down the road.

Definitely a great looking car. Lots of adjustability.
