If you skim through CRC Japan's youtube channel you'll find videos from the TITC.

What does Naoto think about his Tamiya 419? Watch from 1:30 until the end.

Lolsers indeed.

Not a happy weekend for either of the top TRF boys.

Great links.

Tons of coverage from overseas racers on FB. Awesome races in every class.

Gotta give him a break. It's a new car.
JG did really well though. Glad to see him doing good outside Tamiya

So the best way of showing your frustration and displeasure at yourself ands your car is to deliberately smash your car into the pit wall.

He's talented, but a childish little turd

Surprised he would even do such a thing, considering it was his dream to race for Tamiya. Many people in Japan think the same thing about his "childish little turd" antics.

He was really struggling from Q1 onwards and I guess was desperate to prove to his critics wrong about leaving Yokomo.

It didn't work out the way he expected and venting a little anger and frustration that way to me is understandable for a racer of his standards.

Ending up in B main with your 'Dream Team' is not a good way to kick off a fresh start.

He's driving for ARC now and is doing well for his first big event.

It seems as if Naoto's car is lacking mid-corner steering, it doesn't want to rotate around the corner as much as other cars. I think his mistake was caused by him overdriving it to overcome this problem. That's what it seems like in the video.

I've heard that RedRc requires a significant fee to attend away races...

just a guess, but perhaps TRF suffered from not having Jilles expertise tuning at this track
He is truly an ambassador for the sport, and very sharp on setup skills

TITC is definitely a way under-rated RC event of the world....look at the A and B main of the driver list, that is almost like a ISTC-WC repeat. I don't think it was ever broadcast by RedRC or RcRacing TV..........unfortunately they don't even live stream the score on MyRCM until the end of the event.
