RS 4 Pro 2 oldie but goodie ESC pick out
Hey everyone,
I have had my pro 2 for.... gosh.... 15+ years. I love it and still find it very competitive whooping on kids at events. I pulled it off the shelf the other day and sadly the thing is acting strange.
It currently has a HPI Vapor ESC and Motor. When i power it up, it locks the motor solid like its fighting itself. Im guessing its toast and i never really liked the size of it anyway.
Whats a good ESC/Motor combo that would be a good fit for just zipping up and down the street.... gotta be fast!
Everything looks so huge online!

HPI RS4 Pro 2... my first real competition level RC car, way back then... Got some pictures?
For a new combo, just make sure you don't overdo it. The ball diff of that oldie wasn't really designed for brushless power - so keep it somewhat moderate. Sorry, as a racing guy, I only think in sensored mode, so that's all I have any experience with:
e.g. Hobbwing XERUN XR10-Justock COMBO ist available with either 10.5T/13.5T/17.5T/21.5T motors... 13.5T should be enough power (if you insist you could try 10.5T as well, but remember: higher speed = bigger damage.)
