Anodizing Aluminum is a long and complex process. Suffice to say it involves MUCH more than cooking your Al parts in a dye bath.

You need:

A cleaning Tank

An etching Tank

A Deox / Desmut Tank

An electrically charged cathodized Anodizing tank with Bus bars, a power supply, Dye and sealer.

Last but not least, you need hanging racks to place your parts in the Ano tank during the process.

Alot of $$$ and alot of time.

Q: how do you do anodizing?

A: Yellow pages under metal finishing, or anodizing.

I jsut dropped of a bunch of stuff just today. Total cost 40.00, much cheaper than buying all of the equipment, AND i wont blow my house up.

One of the recent issues of Xtreme RC had a pretty good article on anodizing aluminum. Their site is www.rc411.com I believe, I would take a look there.
