Like I said, I'm not trying to be a dick and I don't want to offend anyone. It just seems like major overkill. I know driving a drift car isn't easy, I've tried it and didn't enjoy it at all.

Cyclone as a drifter is awesome!!!!! Tons of people have Yokomos, Losi's, and TC3's, but I bet he's the only guy in the world to have a Cyclone as a drifter .

moving the rx to the front has stoppe dthe glitching altogher (low throttle would make the steering twitch)

i just did, no real reason, wanted something a little better than my fk04 for drifitng, so far its not the best drifter (harder to set up for neutrality, stock 3deg and 2.5 pivot blocks do not help, but locking the rear diff wiht a cardboard gasket and some araldite helped it along)

it might look it watching me, as i hit everything n the way through, demolition man driving technique is great fun, especially with a nice chassis.

hehehe, dont sweat it, overkill is the aim of the game, like real drifting.

we run comps here in WA with judged events etc, we use D1 japan rules here possible and have show and shine etc.

having a sexy chassis is great, but at the same time i hate it looking so new, sadly enough, the 1st thing i did was put the car on the road, put my foot on it and scuff the underside a bit.

i think the fact so many people take rc so damn seriously is the only real problem facing rc drift. we are out there to have fun. you can compete with a tt-01 or with a trf415 it is literally all based on your skill. normal grip racing however is more of a case of who buys what and then in the top levels its about the driver where all the chassis are so far developed they are essentially the same and the driver is the MAIN factor.

ou local drift comps have people with nosram brushless schumacher mi2's, novak brushless trf415's, pro3's, pro3's, so many diff tamiya's i have nfi what they all are, stage d kits and thankfully no yohomo drift kits.

our best comp so far was taken out by a tt-01 using a 23t.

you think me drifting the cyclone was rough... you should see the skate park shenanigans this thing wont last a month with any luck so i can buy the trf i should have bought

I took out the comp with a cheapo 16t thanks!

Yeah this cyclone is not the best for drifting, it handles really weirdly and is not very progressive(Such a bloody nice chassis though, looks amazing and is so light!).

I agree though, you should buy a TRF415, mine kicks ass straight out of the box..

16t... 23t... was there really that much of a difference

i licked your trf when you werent looking on sunday

i have got osme parts arriving this week or next to help with the pivot blocks etc, 3.0 is way too harsh for the rear
