Had to dig deep to find this topic...

With the GFX almost out I'm seeing several T-35's for sale - many almost new & around $300. I had planned on getting a GFX, but does anyone feel that the new features are worth the extra money over a good used T-35? Other than the obvious cool factor of new equip, I'm thinking the money saved could buy a couple of decent batteries instead.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Denney

Denny - The new charger is "awesome" but the older chargers are not by any means outdated. It just depends if you need the new features of the GFX. Curves, Discharge RX packs, ( T-35 will charge RX/TX, just not discharge, unless you want to fry them at 10A ), charge at 20amps (Insane), and have increased motor draw amps, so your T-35 won't shut down from over amp draw. Usually you can run any motor @2v without shutting down a T-35 though.

I would buy one to go along with my Stealth if I could afford a power supply and a GFX, but im currently at limit with my Novak power supply, so a new power supply is the first priority.

They should be going out the doors anytime. Last week they were only waiting for the shipment of face-plates to come in. I talked to Jim on Monday, and had the face-plates come in by the next day, they would have been ready to ship late last week.

Otherwise, they planned on getting them out the door this week. Unfortunately I don't think they will fill the pre-order with the first shipment. Quite a few people pre-ordered the GFX a long time ago.

Thanks for the info...I'm not too worried about tx/rx batteries, but I like the big display & additional motor run amps.

If the GFX is able to run a motor at 20 amps, how much is the T35?

Thanks, Denney
