Brilliant to see a big American company like PROTOform getting into such a cool class that is GT12 racing.

Introducing PROTOform’s first race body for the GT12 class: the PFM-12. Inspired by the supercars that call the esses of Silverstone and Brands Hatch home, this BRCA-Approved race body features a low-slung, cab-forward design sure to provide exceptional handling characteristics.
Included with the PFM-12 is a comprehensive decal sheet to complete the scale appearance, wing mounting hardware, and paint-then-peel overspray film.

I love the look of that body!

Wheelbase is very similar between GT12 cars and conventional 1/12, but the track width of GT12 cars are around 7-10mm narrower.
This body was made specifically for GT12 cars, but in theory they would work on the "LMP" style chassis if you used narrower tires.

It's huge in the UK.
You can see the rules here.
Most people run Schumacher Supastox or Mardaves.
It's a great class and is cheap because there are price limits on the chassis. The cars are quick, look great and due to their size they're ideal for your typical smaller indoor track that you get over here.

When I was over visiting some friends last year I watched a GT12 club race. My buddy Dave told me GT12 was/has replaced Tamiya mini in a lot of clubs. He said it was cheaper and the cars were just as entertaining.

Link below is one of the UK 12th nationals where we run GT12 and "regular" 12th scale pan cars.
GT 12 cars are 1s 13.5 blinky but with a heavier weight limit a ban on camber change in front suspension to keep the simple
